aspellがデフォルトで使う辞書を設定する方法

emacs から M-x ispell-buffer とか M-$ で スペルチェッカ aspell を起動すると，以下のようなエラーがでる．

Error: No word lists can be found for the language "ja_JP"

このような場合は 以下のような内容で~/.aspell.conf を用意すれば良い．
