ついに Linux-3.0-rc1 登場! - pyopyopyo - Linuxとかプログラミングの覚え書き -

先日 linux-2.6.39　がリリースされた linux カーネルですが，とうとうメージャーバージョンが3.0にあがるようです．

http://www.kernel.org にて 5/30に linux-3.0-rc1 が公開されています．

http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v3.0/testing/ChangeLog-3.0-rc1から changelog の冒頭を引用すると，

Date: Sun May 29 17:43:36 2011 -0700
Linux 3.0-rc1

.. except there are various scripts that really know that there are
three numbers, so it calls itself "3.0.0-rc1".

Hopefully by the time the final 3.0 is out, we'll have that extra zero
